Cusco and Super Valley 04 Days / 03 Nights

DAY 01: CUSCO IN – VISITING THE CITY OF CUSCO AND ITS SURROUNDINGS.

Reception and transfer to the chosen hotel. At 12:00 noon we will begin our visit to the city of Cusco and its surroundings.

First, we will go to the Archaeological Park to enter Sacsayhuamán, considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, and the Qenqo astronomical observatory. We will continue with a visit to the Plaza Mayor, where most of the buildings retain the colonial style. We will visit the Cathedral and finally the Temple of Qoricancha, the highest expression of Inca architecture, currently the Convent of Santo Domingo. Return to your hotel.

DAY 02: SUPER VALLEY

On this longer tour we will take a walk through all the best of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Starting from your hotel between 6:30 and 7:00 am, we travel to Chinchero, an ancestral Inca town, where we will see the royal estate of the Inca Tupac Yupanqui, and the colonial plaza and temple. We continue to Moray to visit the Inca center for agricultural research, with its impressive circular terraces. From there to the ancient salt mine of Maras, a visually unique place and ideal for practicing photography. Descending to the beautiful Sacred Valley, we will have lunch at a buffet-style restaurant in the town of Urubamba. Bordering the river of the same name, we arrive at the ancient citadel of Ollantaytambo, with its imposing fortress and its incomparable canals, large walls and temples, wonderful examples of Inca architecture.

Towards the end of the tour we will be in Pisac, an architectural complex of enormous terraces and finely finished stone temples, another jewel of the Inca civilization. In the Pisac market you can admire the best of Cusco's craftsmanship. We return to your hotel in Cusco at the end of a day of wonderful experiences.

DAY 03: MACHU PICCHU

Very early we will go to the train station to go to Aguas Calientes, the town where the ascent to Machu Picchu begins. We will take buses to the top to take a guided tour of the citadel for a period of 2 hours. After the tour we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, there we will enjoy a delicious lunch and then board our train back to the city. Return to your hotel.

DAY 04: CUSCO OUT

Breakfast at the hotel. Last day in the imperial city, if time permits you can visit the craft markets to make purchases. Transfer to the airport at the coordinated time.
