Day 1: LIMA – ARRIVAL ICA (295km – 5hrs)
Early pick-up at approximately 05:30 am, the bus picks you up from your hotel in Lima and takes you to Ica City by the Panamericana road. Arrive at Ica bus station at around 10:00, and hop on the transfer to the hotel, for check-in and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Ica is a city in southern Peru, located in a coastal desert and known for its warm, dry climate. It is famous for its production of pisco and wine, as well as the nearby Huacachina Oasis, which is ideal for dune sports.

Day 2: ICA
After breakfast, your day starts with a hotel pickup in the city to explore the iconic Plaza de Armas and traverse the charming streets of historic and modern Ica. Immerse yourself in the rich history of the Regional Museum of Ica, which has an important collection of pre-Hispanic artefacts from the Ica, Paracas, Nazca, Wari and Inca cultures that have been exhibited in different parts of the world. Then, experience an insightful visit to an artisanal distillery, where you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of wine and Pisco production, followed by a delightful tasting session. Finally, you will visit Lake Huacachina. Originally an oasis in the middle of the desert, surrounded by large sand dunes, the lake is one of Ica´s major attractions. At the end of this tour, return to your hotel.
In the afternoon immerse yourself into the fascinating history and crafting process of artisanal pisco while tasting various exquisite products. You will begin at the artisanal winery "El Catador", where you can appreciate the wine and pisco production process as it has been done since 1856. Then, go to the Vista Alegre winery, an industrial winery that can produce 5 million litres of pisco a year. The tour continues to the Tacama winery, where you learn about its industrial techniques for the production of a wide variety of red, white and pisco wines. You can visit its seedling area and farmhouse. At the end of the visit, transfer back to the hotel.

Day 3: DEPARTURE ICA – LIMA (295km – 5hrs)
A transportation service will take you from the selected hotel to the bus station in Ica. This service is shared with other passengers, and the pick-up time may vary depending on the number of passengers. Travel by bus from Ica to Lima where the tour ends.
Comfortable and light clothing is recommended for visiting the coastal areas of Peru, while for the high Andean area the use of warm clothing is recommended. It is not recommended that visitors wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or short clothes when visiting religious temples or official buildings. Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
