Day 1: ARRIVAL SPLIT – TROGIR (30km - 1hrs)

Arrive at Split Airport, meet and greet by our local representative who will assist you with your car hire and inform you how to proceed on your departure day. Begin your five-day journey around the stunning Dalmatian Coast. Start with a short drive to Trogir, a superb town with a history that began in ancient Greek times. The town name itself derives from the name of a Greek tragedy. Even still today it is possible to see a stone fragment of Kairos (God of happy moments) in the collection of the St Nicholas Benedictine Monastery. Discover the impressive past of this picturesque Croatian treasure, surrounded by crystal-clear waters and filled with emblematic landmarks such as beautiful palaces, opulent cathedrals, ancient walls, as well a spectacular castle. We recommend visiting Trogir’s best sight, the Cathedral of St Lawrence and climb the imposing bell tower to the see fantastic views from the top. Day 2: TROGIR – SPLIT – DUBROVNIK (285km – 3.5 hrs)

Start the day with a tasty breakfast served at the hotel and then depart to Split. Upon arrival, we suggest you embark on a sightseeing tour of this atmospheric coastal town. Split is the largest city in Dalmatia and has a delightful old town core located in and around the impressive, UNESCO-listed Roman Palace of Emperor Diocletian. Day 3: DUBROVNIK

After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we recommend you go for a sightseeing tour of the old town of Dubrovnik, one of the most beautiful medieval towns in the world.

Day 4: DUBROVNIK –OMIS – PODSTRANA (220km – 3hrs)

Depart early in the morning, right after savoring your breakfast, and head towards Omis, a small Dalmatian town that has a tremendous history, connected to fishermen and pirates, and a thriving present marked with adventure tourism and a lively music scene. Wander around the charming streets of Omis, learn about its inspiring past, and understand its vibrant present. If you like outdoor activities, keep in mind that the River Cetina, which passes by Omis and runs into the Adriatic Sea, represents the ideal spot for rafting and it is reckoned as one of the best rivers for water activities in Croatia. At the end of the day drive to Podstrana and check in to your hotel.

Day 5: PODSTRANA – DEPART SPLIT (30km – 1hrs)

Enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast before returning the rental car to the Split Airport. Then, catch your onward flight to your destination. 

Comfortable and warm clothing is the most suitable for travelling. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
