Description

Lake Chapala and the town of Chapala combine nature, culture, and gastronomy. It is one of the most popular excursions from Guadalajara, as it allows visitors to enjoy the largest lake in Mexico, stroll along its boardwalk, and discover the peaceful and picturesque life of the town. We then continue to Ajijic, a charming pueblo mágico with cobblestone streets and adobe houses. We will visit the traditional and spectacular Casa Cuervo, producer of one of the most famous tequilas in our country, Tequila José Cuervo. We will travel through agave landscapes, learn about the tequila-making process, and arrive at La Rojeña, the oldest distillery in Latin America, located in the town of Tequila. There, we will enjoy tastings straight from the still at 55% alcohol, listen to mariachis, and finish by boarding the famous José Cuervo Express train back to Guadalajara—an unforgettable experience in the world of tequila!
