Description

Get ready for an unforgettable trip that fuses the beauty of the Mediterranean, the freshness of the mountains and the tropical charm of the Costa de Almeria and the Alpujarras! This journey will take you through charming villages, dreamlike landscapes and a rich cultural heritage that will transport you through time.

From the arrival in Vélez de Benaudalla, the first town on the route, you will feel the vibrant mix of Moorish and tropical influences that characterize this unique destination. You will stroll through its Arab Quarter, full of winding alleys that will lead you to places as magical as the Nasrid Garden, a paradise of fountains and plants that has been described as a "small Generalife". From the Mirador del Rabiblanco, you can enjoy spectacular views of the surroundings, where the white roofs contrast with the green of the mountains.

Each day will take you deeper into the heart of the Alpujarra, discovering hidden gems such as Gualchos, a charming Alpujarran village with its white houses and narrow streets adorned with flowers. Here, you'll feel like you've traveled back in time as you explore the Bank of Sensations, a center that captures local traditions. The tour will also take you to the quiet village of Jolúcar, a place where devotion to San Cayetano and rural landscapes create an idyllic atmosphere.

The route continues to Castell de Ferro, a coastal town with a fascinating history and beaches that seem to be taken from a fairy tale. From the cove of La Rijana, ideal for scuba diving, to the imposing watchtowers that defended the coast from Barbary invasions, every corner of Castell de Ferro will tell you about struggle and resistance over the centuries.

Later on, Sorvilán will surprise you with its resilient spirit, nestled between mountains, where nature and history are intertwined. Here, you will visit the Melicena Tower and learn about the crucial role of women in the region through the Ethnographic Museum and the Wine Interpretation Centre. The day will culminate with a tasting of local wines that will delight your senses.

The adventure continues in Torvizcón, a small town between the sea and the Sierra Nevada, full of tradition and spectacular landscapes. The Paseo-Mirador de Juan y Medio will offer you unforgettable views of the Sierra Nevada and the middle Alpujarra. In addition, the Museum of Esparto Crafts will allow you to learn about the ancient agricultural and artisanal techniques that have defined life in the region for centuries.

Finally, the trip will take you to Pórtugos, one of the most picturesque villages in the Alpujarra, surrounded by mountains and famous for its Fuente Agria, whose mineral-rich waters are known for their healing properties. Here, you will walk along trails surrounded by nature, closing your experience in this idyllic corner of Andalusia.

Along this route, you will enjoy the best gastronomy of each village, with typical dishes served in local restaurants that will also make your palate live an authentic feast of flavors. At the end of each day, you will rest in selected accommodations to provide you with maximum comfort and rest.

This trip promises to be a genuine and complete experience, where each day will bring new wonders and unforgettable memories!
