San Juan and La Rioja Tour: Ischigualasto, Talampaya, Valles Iglesianos y Chilecito

Day 1

Transfer from San Juan Airport or Bus Terminal. Accommodation at the selected hotel. Grand City Tour – City and Surroundings: Auditorio Juan Victoria, Casa Natal de Sarmiento, Cathedral, Teatro del Bicentenario (external visit), Merced del Estero Winery or Campo de Olivos Olive Oil Mill or Finca Sierras Azules, and Dique de Ullum.

(The sites mentioned may be replaced by others depending on availability and opening hours.)

Day 2

Breakfast. Transfer to Valle Fértil. Visit to Parque Provincial Natural Ischigualasto or Valle de la Luna, a Natural World Heritage Site, and the Natural Sciences Museum. Overnight in Valle Fértil.

Day 3

Breakfast. Departure to visit Parque Nacional Talampaya. Overnight in Villa Unión.

Day 4

Breakfast. Departure to Chilecito via Cuesta de Miranda. Tour of Chilecito, including Cable Carril Station 1, the Mining Museum, and Station 2 for panoramic views. Overnight in Villa Unión.

Day 5

Breakfast. Return to San Juan via Cuesta de Huaco. Along the way, travel through the Valles Iglesianos, passing through the towns of Rodeo, Iglesia, and Las Flores. Lunch in Rodeo. Transfer out to the San Juan bus terminal or airport no earlier than 8:00 PM.

(*) Due to availability or operational reasons, the order of park visits may be reversed. In Talampaya, the Classic “Cañón de Talampaya” Experience is reserved by default. Passengers must pay Park entrance fees and the circuit on site.
