Colonial, Ecological and Archaeological Yucatan

Day 1: Cancun

Cancun
Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Valladolid

Cancun - Tulum - Valladolid
After breakfast departure from the hotel in a southerly direction. Visit to the archaeological zone of Tulum, famous for being the only Mayan city built on the shores of the Caribbean Sea. Lunch in a local restaurant, with a visit to a cenote. Arrival in Valladolid in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Uxmal

Valladolid - Loltun - Uxma
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in the direction of Uxmal, passing through picturesque villages, full of 16th-century Franciscan convents. First stop at the Loltun caves. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon arrival at the archaeological zone of Uxmal and visit. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Merida

Uxmal - Celestun - Merida
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the famous Celestun reserve, where a boat tour offers the chance to admire pink flamingos in their natural habitat. Lunch. Late afternoon arrival in Merida and visit of the ‘white city’, so called because of its white colonial buildings. A stop at the ‘zocalo’ is planned to visit the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace and the Montejo House. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5:

Mérida - Izamal - Chichen Itza - Riviera Maya o Cancun
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Merida for Izamal, a charming colonial town known for its Convent. Continuation to Chichen Itza, the Mayan capital of Yucatán, where you can admire world-famous ruins such as the Pyramid of Kukulkan. Lunch in a restaurant and departure for the Riviera Maya with accommodation on arrival in the chosen hotel (not included).
