Day 1: ARRIVAL LIMA
Arrive at the airport where a representative will meet and greet you, as well as help you with the transfer to your selected hotel. Have the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the beautiful surroundings or just relaxing at the hotel.
Overnight in Lima.
Day 2: LIMA – PARACAS – NASCA LINES OVERFLIGHT (255 km - 4 hrs)
At the indicated time, transfer from the selected hotel to the bus station where you take a tourist bus to Paracas. After four hours of travel, arrive at Pisco airport and enjoy 1 hour and 30 minutes flight over the desert observing the mysterious Nasca lines. Nasca is a small town that perhaps would go unnoticed on a map if it didn't host the famous lines engraved on the desert. A monkey, a spider, a condor, all very large, can be seen from the sky, so you try to decipher the mystery. If the weather conditions or airspace permit, fly over the recent findings in Palpa, as well. After flying over these impressive mountains, that host marine fossils up to 150 million years old, the journey ends. Transfer to the hotel in Paracas, and have the afternoon at leisure.
Overnight in Paracas.
Day 3: PARACAS –BALLESTAS ISLAND – LIMA (245km - 4 hours by land)
Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then, transfer to the Chaco station and hop on the boat going to the Ballestas Islands. This is a natural reserve with beautiful geological formations and impressive animal fauna, where pre-Inca culture can be observed. The Ballestas Islands are inhabited by birds, pelicans, sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and other fascinating species. On the way, you can see the still inexplicable lines drawn in the sand forming a candelabra shape. At the end of your boat tour, you will be taken to the bus station for your transfer to Lima.
Comfortable and light clothing is recommended for visiting the coastal areas of Peru, while for the high Andean area the use of warm clothing is recommended. It is not recommended that visitors wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or short clothes when visiting religious temples or official buildings. Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
