Discover the Balearic Islands at your own pace. Sea or mountain, culture or beach, quiet coves or crowded clubs, it´s all here on beautiful Mallorca. Your stay will be split in two different hubs so you´ll be able to make the most of it.

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS:

Palma: a true gem filled up with historical sites that also shelters an endless array of galleries, restaurants, craft studios and bars. Wander in any direction from the awe-inspiring Gothic Catedral, looming baroque churches, teeming public squares, vibrant bohemian neighbourhoods and markets overflowing with all the bounty of the island.

Cap de Formentor: literally means ‘end of Formentor’, where the top end of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range meets the Mediterranean. The drive to this point has scenery as dramatic as anyone could wish for. Cliffs 400 metres tall jut into the sea, their weird rock formations attracting nesting seabirds, while pine trees seem to grow out of the rocks.

Valldemossa: the highest town in Mallorca, perched on a hilltop, surrounded by terraced terrain, Valldemossa was named after the area’s original Moorish landowner, Muza. With its car-free cobbled alleys and rich cultural heritage, the town is a treat to visit.

Day 1: ARRIVAL PALMA DE MALLORCA – CAN PASTILLA (7km – 10 min) / CAR HIRE PICK-UP

Collect your car upon arrival at the airport by heading to the hall and meeting the car rental representative. Then climb into what will be your mode of transportation for this holiday and drive to your first hotel accommodation in Can Pastilla, where you will spend the three following nights.

Overnight in Can Pastilla.

Day 2: CAN PASTILLA

Wake up to breakfast at your hotel and head out to discover Can Pastilla and its beaches. Otherwise, you can go explore Palma de Mallorca, said to be one of the best European cities to live in. It has a lively vibe and many beautiful buildings, the most notable of which is the Gothic cathedral. This towering construction looms over the busy port, usually full of yachts and ships. Lose yourself in the wide array of shops and bars that cram the narrow alleys of the old city and go experience life in the now trendy but ancient fishermen’s neighbourhood of Santa Catalina.

Overnight in Can Pastilla.

Day 3: CAN PASTILLA – VALLDEMOSSA – DEIA – SOLLER – CAN PASTILLA (75 km – 2 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel,  we suggest to discover three of the most emblematic towns on the island. First drive to the picturesque village of Valldemosa, home to the great composer Chopin and his lover George Sands. Here you will find many beautiful shops and traditional bakeries. Stroll along the village and absorb its beautiful landscape. Enjoy some free time in Valldemosa or, if you’re up for more sightseeing, venture a visit to La Cartuja monastery (entrance not included). Continue then to Deia and Soller by driving through a rugged landscape of thick lush forests. Both villages are well-kept, and steep streets lined with stone facades comb its surface. Surrounded by a picturesque countryside, they offer many gorgeous photo-ops. Return to your hotel in Can Pastilla.

Overnight in Can Pastilla.

Day 4: CAN PASTILLA – CAN PICAFORT (63km - 1hr)

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and a drive to your next destination: Can Picafort. Spend a day getting to know the beautiful northern side of Mallorca. One must-see destination is the town of Alcudia, with its port and lively market. Hike through the stunning trails on the Tramuntana mountain range or enjoy the views and tranquillity at Lluch Monastery. What’s more, daily markets are held in a number of towns, where you could show up and try the local delicacies or buy some handmade pottery. As for gastronomy, while the seafood here is delicious, don´t forget to also try traditional inland recipes from the mountain towns: soups, "frito mallorquín" and rice dishes are all typical recipes the farmers of old used to eat at home.

Overnight in Can Picafort.

Day 5: CAN PICAFORT – PORTOCRISTO (DRACH CAVES) – CAN PICAFORT (90km – 2hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, hop into your car and depart towards Manacor and Portocristo, where you can visit the famed Caves of Drach (entrance not included), one of Mallorca’s most popular tourist attractions – and rightfully so. Marvel at this incredible natural latticework of sprawling underground caverns and lakes. Afterwards drive back to the hotel for some rest and relaxation or stop at one of the many beautiful coves you will cross en route and while away the afternoon in the sun and the water.

Overnight in Can Picafort.

Day 6: CAN PICAFORT

Replenish your energy with breakfast at the hotel and dedicate a day to discovering the many sandy Mediterranean beaches and clear waters that characterise Alcudia Bay and its surroundings. Choose your preferred destination and spend your time however you please: swimming, shopping, sunbathing, sipping a drink on a terrace… you name it!

Overnight in Can Picafort.

Day 7: CAN PICAFORT

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and dedicate yet another day of relaxing in Can Picafort or its surroundings: you set the pace. Relax in the hotel, or if you’re feeling adventurous, go visit some more of the area’s most attractive destinations, such as the stunning nature on display at Cape Formentor or the quaint town of Pollença, with its lively little market.

Overnight in Can Picafort.

Day 8: DEPARTURE CAN PICAFORT – AIRPORT MALLORCA (65km – 1hr) / CAR HIRE DROP-OFF

Bid farewell to Mallorca after breakfast at the hotel and drive back to the airport to drop off the car. You'll be told the return procedure and exact designated area by the rent a car company when you pick up the car on arrival day. The rent a car shuttle service will transfer you to the terminal for you to catch your departure flight back home.

Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Spain though a warm jumper and jacket are advisable in the cooler months. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
